What Do You Know About Souls?

For as indicated when the soul departs from a body (this is not being spoken of the Christ, you see), it has all of the form of the body from which it has passed - yet it is not visible to the carnal mind unless that mind has been, and is, attuned to the infinite. Then it appears, in the infinite, as that which may be handled, with all the attributes of the physical being; with the appetites, until these have been accorded to a unit of activity with universal consciousness.

Just as it was with the Christ-body: ‘Children, have ye anything here to eat?’ This indicated to the disciples and the Apostles present that this was not transmutation, but a regeneration, recreation of the atoms and cells of body that might, through desire, masticate material things - fish and honey (in the honeycomb) were given. As also indicated later, when He stood by the sea and the disciples and Apostles who saw Him from the distance could not, in the early morning light, discern - but when He spoke, the voice made the impression upon the mind of the beloved disciple [DS: John] such that he spoke, ‘It is the Lord!’ The body had prepared fire upon the earth - fire, water, the elements that make for creation. For as the spirit is the beginning, water combined of elements is the mother of creation.

Not transmutation of flesh but creation, in the pattern indicated. Just as when there are those various realms about the solar system in which each entity may find itself when absent from the body, it takes on in those other realms not an earthly form but a pattern - conforming to the same dimensional elements of that individual planet or space.

Jesus' Wish from the Cross

Hence we find, with the return from Galilee and the activities there upon the ascension (which was fifty days after the resurrection), Mary the mother of Christ became a dweller in the house or home of John - who joined with those in Bethany; for John, as may be well known, was the wealthiest of the disciples of the Christ.

Amalgamation of Biblical Events During Rewrites

In the Gospel of Luke, 7:37-38, a sinner washes the feet of Jesus with her tears and wipes them with her hair. The identity of this sinner is not revealed. Many Biblical scholars assume that this was Mary Magdalene, but we may have another situation here of two incidents being amalgamated into one in the early writings, similar to the two women accused of adultery, that Jesus rescued from stoning.

Biblical History Excerpts from The Soul of Jesus

On his arrival in Egypt, Joseph was sold to Potiphar, an officer of the ruling Pharaoh, and diligently worked his way into a position as a most-trusted servant. Unfortunately for Joseph, he resisted the sexual advances of his master's wife, and as revenge, she told Potiphar that he had taken her. Joseph spent many years in an Egyptian prison. Even in his teenage years, and probably as a gift from his Heavenly Father, Joseph was a skilled interpreter of dreams. This valuable talent was eventually brought to the attention of the Pharaoh, who was haunted by a recurring dream of his own which none of his dream-interpreters could adequately explain. Joseph interpreted the dream as a prophecy that Egypt would have seven years of plenty followed by seven years of famine. The Pharaoh was so impressed with Joseph's interpretation of his dreams that Joseph not only avoided a return to prison, but was made the commissioner of supplies. By the time the famine struck, Joseph was the second most powerful person in Egypt.

Jesus' Secret Disciple

Nicodemus was one of the 70 members of the Jewish Sanhedrin and a secret disciple of Jesus. He occasionally came to speak with Jesus at night. Jesus' one piece robe mentioned here was woven by Nicodemus' wife, Martha, and was presented to Jesus by Nicodemus on one of these night-time visits as a thank-you gift, after Jesus had raised a relative of Nicodemus from the dead. Nicodemus' relative was the widow of Nain's son. See Luke 7:11-15

The Brotherhood of Teaching Masters

If you are interested in further details on The Brotherhood or The White Brotherhood, you can find lots of information in an Internet search. In a nut-shell, the Brotherhood is a group of highly developed souls, whether incarnated or in spirit, that are apparently the most-gifted Teaching Masters of God's Laws. John the Baptist and Jesus both received training from and were tested by these Teaching Masters in Egypt. “In this same pyramid, the Great Pyramid in Egypt, did the Great Initiate, the Master, take those last of the Brotherhood degrees with John, the forerunner of Him, at that place.”

Essene History and Jesus

Essene scholars basically rely on four sets of ancient writings for their knowledge and speculation concerning the Essenes. The Jewish philosopher, Philo of Alexandria, c.20BC - c.54AD, in his manuscript titled Quod Omnius Probus Liber, mentioned over 4000 Essenes in villages throughout Palestinian Syria. Next, Pliny the Elder, c.23AD - c.79AD, a Roman soldier, naturalist, historian and biographer produced the 37-volume Natural History, indicating that the Essenes had existed for thousands of generations and located them at his time in the desert along the north-west portion of the Dead Sea. Flavius Josephus, c.37AD - c.100AD, Jewish soldier turned Roman historian and politician, included the Essenes in a number of his manuscripts, offering us the most comprehensive look at this mystical religious order.
The discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1947, in caves outside of Qumran near the north-west coast of the Dead Sea, helped, or possibly complicated, the analysis of Essene history. Some scholars believe that the Qumran colony was Essene, and others most definitely do not. I will leave it with you to do your own research, if you have the inclination, and to draw your own conclusions.
